The buffet breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of food options to choose from. The small pool was perfect for our 5-year-old daughter, who learned how to swim there. Our room was lovely, complete with a balcony and clothes lines for drying our swimwear and towels. The hotel's location right by the beach was a major plus, with no streets to cross. Gertru at the reception was amazing and provided excellent service.
Felt like treated like royalty, no complaints.

An excellent value for money stopover out of season, very clean room with nice full bath and shower. The morning continental breakfast was good but the evening buffet was served cold and let the hotel down

The food was excellent. Immaculate canteen area. Attentive staff. Clean and great housekeeping. Helpful and friendly staff. No nightclubs/partying. Good choice of restaurants/bars. Favorable prices.
Nothing could have been better.

The Marlin Antilla Playa hotel had two standout features that made my stay enjoyable. First, the database provided accurate information, allowing me to easily choose the hotel based on my preferences. Second, the room was well-appointed and had all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay, ensuring I had a pleasant experience.
There was one minor issue that slightly marred my experience at Marlin Antilla Playa. The check-in process took longer than anticipated, with a wait of over 20 minutes.

The buffet breakfast and dinner at the hotel's restaurant were a feast for my taste buds. The staff was always there to help me with anything I needed. Plus, the hotel's location was perfect, offering beautiful views and easy access to Portugal.
Who doesn't enjoy a view of an interior courtyard or a staircase? A dream come true!

I always come back for the friendly staff, who even helped me with taxi tips on my first stay. This perfect place has everything I need – free Wi-Fi, outdoor car park, bar/lounge area, swimming pool, flat-screen TV. A great choice for a romantic escape.

During my Christmas stay, I found two aspects of this hotel to be quite enjoyable. the rooms were spacious and clean, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. the hotel's location was key. It was conveniently situated near the beach, allowing me to easily access the beautiful shoreline. I loved being able to step out of the hotel and be just a few steps away from the sandy beach.
Despite the positive experiences I had during my Christmas stay, there were a few aspects that I did not particularly enjoy. The scrambled eggs were not up to par and after the first day, no additional eggs were provided.

Breakfast. Spotlessly clean rooms the cleaners should be put in charge of hotel.
Sheets too small. Bed much too short. Noisy. Paid extra for sea view but there was a communal balcony outside so no privacy had to keep curtains closed all the time. Balcony had concrete wall so had to stand to see sea anyway. Room very small and claustrophobic. Every where tired and needing an overhaul.

The location was super rad, just a few steps away from the beach where we totally chilled and caught some rays. And dude, the food was off the charts! The restaurant had a sick selection of delicious eats, from fresh seafood to mouthwatering tapas. Plus, the staff were totally cool and helpful, even though we didn't speak much Spanish. it was an epic spot for a fun-filled vacay with the crew!
The only bummer was that there weren't any nightclubs or party scene at the resort. It would have been sick to have some nightly entertainment for us young party animals.

We stayed at Hotel Marlin Antilla Playa for a week and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful even though we didn't speak much Spanish, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. The resort was peaceful with no nightclubs, which was perfect for our teenage daughters. We enjoyed trying different restaurants and bars in the area, and the prices were very reasonable. The hotel's location on the beach was convenient, and the rooftop pool and bar were a great bonus.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

It provided hours of entertainment for them and they had a blast. The pool area was well-maintained and the lifeguards were attentive. It was such a fun experience for the whole family!
My wife says that having a playground or a kids club would have been a great addition for families with children.
